Main Product Categories

Is it time for a different look on your R/C car? Is your Remote control cars body cracked or paint chipped off? It is time for a new body for your nitro or electric R/C car.
Style is not the only reason to change your body. Putting a different body on your nitro or electric RC car will considerably change the cars handling especially if you have a on-road car. Some RC bodies offer more steering, while others more rear traction. What we have done at Gen X hobbies is to give you the cutting edge in design. So if you are looking for a pure racing body (ProtoForm R/C bodies, Proline, HPI, Parma, or Bolink) we have it. You will need to finish off that Tmaxx, Associated TC3, or HPI Nitro RS4 body. We also have a complete line of RC Car body paint from Patra, and a selection of Paint mask or sticker sets to give you the look and performance that you need.

Body Painting FAQ
Before you apply paint or masking, clean the body with warm water and dish soap, rinse thoroughly and dry with a lint-free cloth. Avoid touching the inside of the body, and wash your hands thoroughly beforehand, so you don’t leave oily fingerprints in the body if you do touch it.
Work in a well-ventilated area, away from heaters, open flame, etc. The best painting spot is in the backyard!
Wear a filter mask when you paint. If you’re working outside, position yourself so that the paint won’t be blown back toward you as you work.

Have patience! Let each coat dry completely before applying the next.
